1. Write a role-specific summary

If you completed an internship, describe what you actually did rather than only listing the company and title. Explain the tools used, the problem worked on, and what you delivered.
For a short internship, two or three strong bullets are better than a paragraph of responsibilities. If an internship is unrelated to the target role, keep it concise and give more space to relevant projects.
